Take one look at our current Clerk's Office website and you can see we're in serious need of an update. Land records and other services which are available online in other counties must be requested in-person in Hunterdon. This slows down businesses, creates unnecessary red tape, and ultimately costs you more money.
Caitlin Giles-McCormick will make the Clerk's Office more accessible with updated online services.

Hunterdon County is a big place. The winding roads and open spaces make this county such a great place to live, but it also means the Clerk's Office is Flemington isn't always convenient for people.
As Clerk, Caitlin Giles-McCormick will institute Mobile Office Hours to bring the services of the Clerk's Office to your neighborhood.

The most important job of the County Clerk is administering elections. Unfortunately, our current Clerk is missing the details: early vote locations are listed without opening hours, petition forms are posted with incorrect information, and mail-in voters have even received incorrect ballots. When it comes to reporting results, while other counties have live dashboards with easy to read charts and reports, our county posts a mess of pdfs for voters to sift through.
Caitlin Giles-McCormick will make sure voters have all the information they need to understand and participate in our elections with confidence.

The current commissioners pass off minimum effort for fiscal responsibility. They tout a budget surplus despite cutting essential services like the Link. Our taxes continue to rise while services shrink.
It's time to stop paying more and getting less. Jason Blazakis will make smart investments that improve the lives of county residents

Budgets and taxes are a major part of a Commissioners job, and so is advocating for residents. For too long, the current commissioners have remained silent when it comes to problems with our electric grid infrastructure, calling out cuts to essential services by the federal government, and more.
Jason Blazakis will be a commissioner who stands up for Hunterdon County residents.

Hunterdon County is no monolith. It's farmers and commuter, renters and home-owners, young families and retirees, new-comers and life-long residents. That range of life stories demands a range of experience on the Commissioners Board.
Jason Blazakis managed multi-million dollar grant programs to combat terrorist money-laundering and brings extensive governing experience from around the world. As Commissioner, he will be a fresh perspective to guide Hunterdon into a more affordable, more accessible, more accountable future.
